Forbes: The 50 corporations leading in blockchain adoption. You’ll recognize most of these companies and hopefully several of the burgeoning blockchain projects. Clearly you’ll also notice a heavy focus on “permissioned” or private blockchains versus “permissionless” or truly decentralized chains.

It’s not surprising and it’s sharp. Intermediaries like intermediating. And they should. The moats they’ve built bring in billions in revenue. So they’re exploring these blockchain projects to disrupt their own business models before their business models are possibly disrupted by competitors.
