Microsoft launches decentralized digital identity

Watch this one. Still early but Microsoft’s move to create a decentralized digital identity layered on bitcoin is a win for data privacy. The difference from your current Facebook Connect sign-on credentials? You’d own your data instead of Facebook. This also would test the efficacy of bitcoin to scale beyond currency into additional utility.
